How it Works

Voicemaker Free sends your text to a Cloudflare Worker — a high-performance edge server running nearest to your location. By default, the Worker connects to Microsoft Edge TTS for free audio synthesis. If you enter your Google Cloud API Key, the app switches to Google Cloud TTS, offering more voice options (free up to 4 million characters per month). The MP3 file is returned directly to your browser, usually in less than 2 seconds.
